York City Football Club has launched its first-ever city centre pop-up store in partnership with Fenwick York, marking a significant step in expanding its retail presence. The store, located on the ground floor of Fenwick York, will open on Thursday, 27 August, with a player meet-and-greet and signing session planned for the launch day. The collaboration with Fenwick York, a UK-based department store group, aims to connect fans and visitors with the club in the heart of York. The pop-up will feature a limited-edition collection co-branded with the York Revolution baseball team, offering an exclusive launch period at Fenwick York. Players from both the men’s and women’s first teams visited the store earlier this week, wearing the new collegiate tee and hoody collection. Pete Sutton, York City FC’s Business Development Officer, highlighted the success of a previous trial at the Christmas Markets, which demonstrated strong demand for city-centre merchandise. Donna Bolton, Store Director at Fenwick York, emphasized the partnership’s role in supporting the local community and bridging the club’s brand with a historic retail space. The pop-up will provide fans with a unique opportunity to engage with the club’s latest designs and celebrate its presence in York’s commercial heart.
